” Waste-Free World”, Says CEO of Spasibo Waste Solutions

A Thank You to nature means giving back what this planet has given to us. Every day, we see tonnes of waste get dumped on landfill collected from our home. These dumped wastes produce harmful gases such as methane and contaminated water bodies with hazardous chemicals. To save the planet earth from horrendous waste pollution, one inspiring youth, Founder of Thank You, Mr.Gaurav Sharma has started “Zero Waste System” to fulfill the vision of ” Waste-free World”. On the 70th Republic day of India, Mr.Gaurav Sharma has awarded “Entrepreneur of the Week” on the Weekly event by Startup Launcher.

Making of an Entrepreneur

Gaurav started his entrepreneurial journey from 2016 with the idea of solving waste problems in cities. He dropped out from his college just to pursue what he wants to do. As a passionate entrepreneur, he always believes in himself to do what he loves to. He worked with AIESEC, an intercultural global organization, at the position of Vice president OGIP at AIESEC for 2 years. At that period, he learned leadership and effective communication skills to build successful relationships with people from different countries. Then, he worked as a business analyst at 91springboard. While working in Delhi, he recognized to have a serious concern about waste problems in the metropolitan cities. This led him to start a social enterprise, Thank you to tackle the challenge of sustainable waste management.

About Thank You

Let’s Thank You is a brand of Spasibo Waste Solutions Pvt.Ltd, a waste management company started on 27th January 2017.  The main objective of Thank You is to create waste solutions to turn tonnes of waste into resources and use them as energy sources for household and commercial purposes.

A fantastic team with passion towards building a Zero Waste Ecosystem for creating a clean and beautiful environment to live. This organization has running three projects or can say waste solutions such as food waste project, sanitary napkins disposal project, and Soap products for the underprivileged community. Under the guidance of dedicated leaders, Thank You has been trying to bring changes in the lives of workers to include rag pickers, sweepers, housekeepers, cleaners and among others. 

Thank You has recycled 400 tonnes of waste with Swachh Surevekshan 2019, an initiative running under the Swachh Bharat Mission in Hyderabad, Telangana. He has started the online platforms to purchase small bins to decompose food waste at home. 

Mr. Gaurav Sharma and other members of his company are deeply determined and inspired by a passion to achieve a vision to see this world without waste. Every human being is responsible for wastes his creating on earth and if we take this responsibility seriously, there would be no lack of resources and poverty.

Startup Launcher has awarded him, “Entrepreneur of the Week” for his determination and innovation. As his innovation has been preventing tonnes of diseases to spread and solving problems of unemployment by giving more opportunities to people at the bottom level of society.
